Beth's Ponderings
Sometimes we just
can’t see the forest for the trees. Ever
been in that situation?
In January, and the
beginning of February, I was racing around, pressuring myself, to finish a
whole bunch of creative projects in the house.
The reason I wanted
to complete the projects was so that I had time and space to complete…...wait
for it…...creative projects! OY!
Rather than
enjoying the process of doing each project, I was trying to race through them -
with much efforting too - so I could feel like I had the right conditions to
complete projects.
What caught my
attention and stopped me in my tracks was that I had written as a dream for 2025
that I wanted to leisurely work on various creative projects.
My dream for the
year is literally right in front of me, and I was completely oblivious of it!
Now that I can see
the “forest” again, I’ve taken the pressure off myself, and created little
nooks to work on each project going forward.
Can you see the “forest” in front of you in your life?
