Beth's Ponderings

Unless you have been living under a rock, I’m sure you are all aware that things aren’t as they should be in the world, in the country south of us, and in our own county.

And, unless you’ve been living under a rock (lucky you, if you have been!), it’s time we all realized that we can’t wait for cooler heads to prevail, or for good old common sense to kick in.

We should realize that this is not something that will “just blow over in a day or two,” or that hiding our heads will “make it all go away.”

The situation here at home, and around the globe, IS serious, and to pretend otherwise, is nothing short of idiocy.

That said, there is lots we can each do as citizens within our own local spheres, and as consumers.

The important thing to remember is that this is going to be a long marathon, not a sprint, so we need to take care of ourselves - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Be informed, but don’t overwhelm yourself, to the point you can’t function.

We need each other!  Elbows up!

Beth
