Beth's Ponderings
In my basement, I have boxes of books I picked up through
the years at different book sales. I haven’t read them, or even looked at them,
since I tossed them in the boxes.
This summer, I decided it was time to deal with them. First was a set of 4 Erma Bombeck books - a funny trip down memory lane. Life has sure changed since the 1970’s, and yet hasn’t changed at all! Next I found two books I would never have bought so not sure why I had them! I decided not to read them (life’s much too short). I’m currently reading a small collection of John Milton’s poetry published in 1926! While written, they are best experienced when read aloud.

After 10 years, I must raise the ad rates to cover
increased costs.
There is no charge to submit photos and/or news items,
however, a donation is gratefully accepted.
I encourage, as many readers as possible to please donate
a minimum of $23 in honour of the 23 years I’ve been in publication. That’s
less than a $1/issue for a year. Receipts available on request. Thank you
for your support.
