Beth's Ponderings
I love to bake and cook. Yet, despite that love, I did very
little from the age of 13 on, and only when I HAD to, or no one else was
around.
The past 6 years, I reconnected to my love of trying new
recipes, tweaking old ones, and creating my own. This year I’ve really focussed
on baking and cooking for myself (I do share the results if someone shows up at
the right time) to make my life easier.
I mentioned to a friend recently, that while I love spending
time in the kitchen, I don’t want to spend ALL day on just one elaborate
recipe, because for me, it’s also important to have something to EAT when I’m
done. So I tend to prefer quick, easy, and adaptable recipes.

After 10 years, I must raise the ad rates to cover
increased costs.
There is no charge to submit photos and/or news items, however,
a donation is gratefully accepted.
I encourage, as many readers as possible to please donate
a minimum of $23 in honour of the 23 years I’ve been in publication. That’s
less than a $1/issue for a year. Receipts available on request. Thank you
for your support.
