about the long lines and the fact that there are 10 separate ballots, Elections
Alberta has opened up mail-in ballets to all residents of Alberta so you can complete
the process in the comfort of your own home and take your time reading each and
every question before making your decision. Go to https://www.elections.ab.ca/
and follow the link for the “2026 Referendum” to request your special ballot.
Deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot is October 9th. All ballots must be
returned before October 16th to be considered valid.
And, yes, mail-in
ballots are legal! Yes, all 10 questions are included!
