January 2, 2009 Chautauqua

From the Editor's Computer

Here we are, once again, at the beginning of a brand new year. This is the time when we look back on the previous year and forward to the new year. Some people even go through the formality of making New Year’s resolutions which will be broken before the month is up.

As you look back on the previous year take some time to reflect on, and note, the things that you are thankful for - the delightful experiences you had, the new and old friendships you shared, the skills you perfected, the knowledge you gained, and especially the priceless moments that touched your heart and soul.

As you look forward at the year ahead take some time to dream about the experiences you want to have, the knowledge you want to gain, the skills you want to learn, the people you want to spend time with, and definitely allow for time to encounter the unexpected priceless moments that will enrich your heart and soul.

Happy New Year and may 2009 bring you all the happiness and enjoyment that life has to offer.

Beth
