I have always wondered why the years seem to go by faster as you get older.
My theory is that, as you get older,
one year is a much shorter time frame to encapsulate your life.
For instance, if you are 10 years old and a year goes by,
it’s 10% of your life so far.
When you’re 20, a year is 5% of your life.
And by 50, it is only 2% of your life.
